We were able to ensure a quick hiring process, which ultimately benefited both Gore and the candidates.
I’ve been on a number of phone screens with him and the candidate. He does a great job facilitating and leading these calls as well as asking truly insightful questions to find out about the candidate’s motivation, interest, skills they are interested in leveraging, and ensuring that they are a good culture fit. I would not have necessarily thought of asking the questions that he came up with.
He made the entire candidate experience a great one. I can’t tell you the number of times that the candidate we ended up hiring told me how awesome, personable and customer-service oriented Greg was. He really cares not only about Gore and ensuring a great fit, but also about all of the candidates and their experience during the hiring process. I’ve had candidates tell me directly that working with Greg was the best candidate/hiring experience that they had ever had.
He also does a great job facilitating the wrap-up/debrief meetings. He is very organized on these calls, ensures that everyone speaks up and is engaged, and asks very insightful questions of the interview team in order to help us select the right candidate.
